Former MLA backs BC United challenger

One of the candidates running to represent the new Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding for the B.C. United Party has picked up a big endorsement.

Former Kelowna Lake Country MLA Dr. John Weisbeck thinks that business owner Binny Boparai has the right stuff for the job.

“Binny stands out as an exceptional candidate, bringing a refreshing perspective and innovative mindset to our community,” Weisbeck said. “Her wealth of experience as a smart business owner and young farmer underscore her ability to navigate challenges successfully and deliver tangible results.”

Weisbeck served as MLA from 1996 to 2005 for the Okanagan East and Kelowna-Lake Country riding. He held two terms of office on Kelowna City Council.
