Selection of B.C. United candidate for new riding goes Saturday
One of four nominees, including one from the North Okanagan, will be selected to represent the B.C. United party in the next provincial election.
The former B.C. Liberal Party will have its candidate selection meeting for the Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding Saturday, Nov. 25.
Among those in the running are Amanda Shatzko, Director of Area C (BX/Silver Star) for the Regional District of North Okanagan; farmer and entrepreneur Binny Boparai; lawyer Bal Grewal; and business owner Pavneet Singh.
The nominees will each have an opportunity to make a two-minute speech ahead of the voting Saturday.
