Dale Alexander Simpson

The family of Dale Alexander Simpson are saddened to announce his tragic and sudden passing on December 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Dale was a beloved husband to Christine, as well as father, step-father, grandfather, and friend.
Dale was born on July 23, 1944, in Armstrong, British Columbia. He met the love of his life, Christine, in Calgary in 1987. They eventually moved to B.C. and settled in the Shuswap, spending over 33 years together until Christine’s passing in 2019. Dale worked in the construction industry for many years—one of his great prides was the business he started with Christine, DC’s Overhead Doors. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his many pets, trips to Skimikin Lake and long, sightseeing drives “just because”.
Dale will be missed by family and friends, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever. No formal funeral or memorial service will be held. If you wish to honor Dale’s memory, please consider making a donation in his name to the BCSPCA.
