Shirley Wood

Our dear friend, Shirley Wood, passed away peacefully on the morning of Dec 15, 2022 at Noric House Long Term Care facility where she contentedly lived out her life after her arrival in Oct, 2018; she was 84 years old.
Shirley suffered many complex physical and mental health issues, including memory loss, long before we got to know her. We do know that Shirley worked as a nurse and was married to a doctor. They had four children all of whom predeceased her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately after the service.
We wish to send a special thank you to all of the staff at the Noric House Care Facility for their compassionate care and the high quality of life they gave to Shirley during her time with them. Memorial donations may be made in her name to your favourite charity. One close to Shirley’s heart is
the SPCA.
