The luckiest day of our lives was when Eddy was born November 24, 1948. The saddest day of our lives was when he left us November 12, 2022.
He was the best husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, & friend. He was predeceased by our 2 sons, Clint & Lou. By his Mom (Allyiss) & Dad (Jack), (Brothers) David, Richard, Pat, (Mother-in-law) Jenny, (Father-in-law) Louie, (Sister-in-laws) Sadie, Bernice, Rose, Martha; (brothers-in-laws) Jim, Hector, Thunder, Jack, Buck, Don, Poley, Rick.
Eddy was a great hunter & loved it but his great passion was fishing. We took so many fishing trips to La La Hache & Sheridan Lake of which he won many fishing derby. I won one derby & you would have thought I was the best fisherwoman in the world. That’s the way he was “So sweet”.
Another favourite past time was the casino. Did he love that, not only to play the machines & win but he had so many friends to visit with. Eddy was a very hard worker & very precise. When he did a job, he
always did a very good job. No job was ever too small to be done properly. Eddy really enjoyed his work. His work ethics were always something that we all learned from.
He will be missed so much by his family; (wife) Laura, (son) Joey; (brothers) John, Bob, Jody; (sisters) Barb, Shirley; (brother-in-law) Ted; (sister-in-laws) Vera, June, Vernetta, Anna, Deb & so many nieces, nephews & friends who loved him so much.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 250 542-4333. Condolences may be left for the family at pleasantvalleyfh.com.
