In loving memory of our dear, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Aunty.
It is with deep sadness and regret that the family wishes to announce the passing of Louise Martha Baynes at the age of 91, at her residence in Vernon, on October 2nd, 2022.
Louise enjoyed life, helping and supporting others and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Louise enjoyed dancing, singing, knitting, crocheting, bird watching, hiking and other crafts of many kinds. The seven dwarfs she created still live on in the garden.
Louise is predeceased by her husband Cliff. Louise is survived by sisters, Dorothy (Laurie – deceased), Elsie (Philip- deceased), Children, Harvey (Trudy), Wayne (Karin), Barry (Colleen), Diane (Bill), Stepchildren Garwin – deceased (Brenda), and Wanda (Blair), 20 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
A Celebration of Louise’s life, followed by a tea where stories of Louise will be told and retold. The celebration will be held on October 29th, 2022, 2:00 PM at Coldstream Christian Church, located at 9904 Kal Lake Road, Coldstream, BC. Weather permitting, Coldstream Park, where Louise and Cliff Baynes were caretakers for over 20 years, will be open for reminiscing and viewing, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the BC Alzheimer’s Society available through the website www.donate.brightfocus.org.
