Carol Anne Fisher (nee Rustad)
January 7, 1941 –June 5, 2022
In the late evening of June 5, 2022, we said goodbye to our much loved Carol, wife, Mom, Grandma, Auntie, Cousin and friend. Mom passes away very peacefully at home, as was her wish, surrounded by family.
Carol is survived by her spouse of 47 years, Edward Robert Fisher (Bob); her son, Kenton Donaldson (Shelley), her daughter Leanne Donaldson (Norm Day); and Jake, their beloved dog. Also left to mourn are her grandchildren, Brenna Donaldson (Denny), Rory Donaldson (Amy) and Rhys Donaldson (Jurnee). In addition, Carol is survived by many extended family and Bob’s children, Kim (David), Larry (Sherry) and Julie (Tim).
Carol was predeceased by her late husband, Peter Lachlan Donaldson, her parents, Clarence and Anna Rustad and her brothers, Gerald and Roderick Rustad.
There will be a celebration of Carol’s Life, July 7, 2022 from 12:00PM – 4:00PM at the Vernon Army and Navy event hall – 2500 46th Avenue, Vernon, BC. Doors open at 12:00 PM with the program starting at 1:00 PM. The family asks that you please bring your stories and memories.
