APRIL 7, 1925 – JUNE 8, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Anne Garrison on June 8, 2022 at the age of 97.
Anne is survived by her 5 children – Donna, Terry (Jan), Shirley (Ron), Dennis and Gilbert (Alice), 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Walter Garrison in 2009.
Anne enjoyed a very active and healthy life. She travelled often to Reno, Mexico, Hawaii and especially loved her “Casino Trips”. She volunteered at the Red Cross and was a member of two Bridge Clubs at Desert Cove. Family Dinners and Christmas was her favorite time and they always included a “friendly” family poker game.
As per Anne’s request, her family will host a Celebration of Life with tea and light refreshments for family and friends at the Community Hall at Desert Cove Retirement Village on July 17th at 12:00 noon.
A special thank you to the staff at Gateby Short Stay and Creekside Extended Care for the wonderful care, support and kindness you have given to Mom in the past year. The family truly appreciates all you have done.
