August 12th, 1950 – June 7th, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen May Sanford: mother, grandmother and good friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 71 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on June 7th, 2022.
Kathleen enjoyed a full and exciting life. She enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, travelling, and giving back to others. Her passions were dancing and music. She was a bundle of positive energy with a great sense of humour and an unforgettable smile. Her courageousness saw her through a brave battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, with her family always by her side.
She is survived and will be deeply and forever missed by her loving sons, mother, sisters, nieces, nephews, and 7 grandchildren. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Bill. Thank you for sharing your love of life, soul and heart with everyone!
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home. Tea to follow immediately after the service.
