Karen passed away peacefully on Saturday March 26 2022 in Lumby B.C. Karen is survived by her loving husband Bill, daughter Kandise, son Chris, grandchildren Chase and Jersey, daughter in law Kim.
Karen and Bill lived in Sherwood Park most of their working careers. Karen started her career as a Registered Nurse and after several years of nursing Karen decided to get involved in the community and sat on Strathcona’s School Board as a School Trustee. Karen then went on to County Council as Councilor for Ward 3. Karen loved her job and found it very rewarding to serve Strathcona County and the people she represented. Karen retired in 2004 and moved to Lumby B.C. with her husband Bill and of course got involved with many committees in Lumby.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
