Husband, father, business owner, millworker and apartment manager, Ronald Howard’s love for Jesus didn’t come to an end with his death. Ron was born and spent most of his life in Vernon, B.C. He passed away peacefully after a prolonged illness into the loving arms of his Lord with his wife, Verna, at his side, on January 20, 2022 the day before his 91st birthday. He is survived by his wife, Verna, daughters, Sherri (Vic) Coulthard, Pam (Peter) Lang, and Tanis (Dan) Mitchell, and step-children Jennifer (Brian) Olson, Murray (Elisabeth) Peters, and Calvin (Charlayne) Peters, who will continue to honour his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. He is also survived by a large extended family of grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a brother Leslie Howard, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Shirlee Ranson, son Craig Howard, and step-son Cameron Peters. An avid Vernon Vipers fan, he and grandson Matthew Olson attended many games together. The family extends their deep gratitude for the loving care and attention given to Ron by the staff of Polson Care Home. No service by request. Family will gather at a later date.
