With profound sadness, the family of Blake Johnny Leigh Doyle announce his unexpected passing on December 4, 2021, at the age of 28 in Vernon, BC.
Blake was predeceased by his grandfathers Johnny Doyle, Laverne Dupont and Dan Humphrey. He is survived by his parents Carly Lavoie (Eric) and Corry Doyle (Tammy); siblings Ashleigh, Aaron and Skylar; grandparents Lynne Johnson (Hugh) and Debra Dupont (Tom); great grandma Phes Johnson as well as extended family and many friends.
Blake was born January 7, 1993 in Vernon, BC. He lived his younger years in Vernon with his mom and siblings. In grade 9 he moved to Stoney Plain, AB to live with his dad. He spent most of his adulthood bouncing back and forth between Vernon and Alberta but always considered Vernon his home. He did many jobs over the years but was very proud to be a roofer by trade; he even had a ruler tattooed on his finger to measure shingles. He loved working on cars in his spare time and had quite a few cars over the years. Some more memorable than others, but he was most proud of his Blazer. He seemed to enjoy pushing the limits on life, but would help anyone anytime if they asked.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Blake’s memory to the breast cancer society. A cause we recently learned meant a lot to Blake.
