Travel restrictions lifted on Highway 7 from Mission to Hope

The province has lifted travel restrictions on Highway 7 between Mission and Hope.

The removal of the essential travel requirement between the communities will allow people to use the roadway for everyday uses, such as commuting to work, driving children to school and attending appointment.

The public is advised that traffic volume will be high on Highway 7 with the restrictions removed, and the province asks that people be cautious, obey all road signs, speed limits and direction of any traffic-control personnel.

Highway 3 between Hope and Princeton remains under an essential travel order.
