Traffic change on part of Vernon street

Motorists will have to take a detour on part of Waddington Drive in Vernon later this week.

Starting at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday (Dec. 9), Waddington Drive between 11th Avenue and Kosmina Road will be accessible to businesses and local traffic only due to utility services work. The project is expected to be complete by 6:00 p.m. the following day, Dec. 10.

The timelines may change if emergencies arise.

“Some delays should be expected for motorists in the area. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. The city appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed,” a City opf Vernon news release stated.
