BCHL Island road swing ends with loss for Vipers

The Vernon Vipers fired 38 shots at the Cowichan Valley Capitals goal on Sunday afternoon, but still came out on the short end of 4-2 loss to the home town team.
The Vipers were down 3-0 before Matt Culling and Ryan Shostak mounted Vernon’s comeback, only to fall short in the Halloween afternoon contest.
Former Viper Brett Fudger had two goals for Cowichan and got into a third period scrap with Viper Adam Bourgeois.
The Vipers picked up 2 out of a possibler 6 points on their three game Island road trip.
