Cyril Arden Foster passed away Friday, October 1 with his children present. Cyril was born in White Fox, Sask near Nipawin to Clarence and Isabel Foster. He was one of 6 children- May, Yvonne, Craig, Gordon, and Irene. Cyril was a teacher and Coach. He had much success and loved coaching Volleyball. Cyril was one of the founders of Spallumcheen golf course. He designed and developed the original course and was President until it was sold in 2007. Cyril lost his first wife, Jo-Ellen (1978) Mother to his 2 boys far too early. Cyril found love again with Thea Greetje Vande de Sande (2020) and had nearly 30 wonderful years. Cyril leaves his son’s Michael (Ginette) and David (Andrea), as well as our extended family of Mark, Debbie, Michael, Stacy, and Grandchildren Ryan, Layla, Sophia, Luc, and Eric. A celebration of life will be held at ANAF (Army Nary Air Force Veterans Hall) 2500 46th Ave. Vernon, B.C on Sunday Nov 7 from 1-3PM. Friends are welcome and encouraged to join us to honour and remember Cyril’s humour and good nature. (COVID Protocol include Masked and Passports)
