Vipers drop preseason game in Penticton

The Vernon Vipers are still looking for their first win of the BC Hockey League preseason after a 3-1 loss to the Penticton Vees at the South Okanagan Events Centre Friday.

The Vees outshot the Vipers 54 to 13.

Finlay Williams and Luc Wilson each had a goal and one assist to lead the Vees to the victory. Ethan Mercer, a Slave Lake Alberta product, scored the lone goal for Vernon (0-2).

Roan Clarke made 51 saves in the Vernon net.
