Aug 31, 2021 | 2:58 PM

The British Columbia Hockey League announced on Twitter Tuesday that it is in support of the provincial health officer’s plan to have attendees provide a proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The BCHL said spectators attending games for all 17 B.C. teams will be required to show a proof of vaccination. This requirement also extends to any players or team staff.

The league, which also includes the Wenatchee Wild in Washington, said they are committed to upholding the regulations in order to ensure the health and safety of players, staff and fans.
