True Leaf’s first cannabis harvest ready for market
A Vernon-based cannabis company is ready to take its product to market.
True Leaf Brands Inc. has completed its first harvest of premium craft cannabis. The company, which uses a 40-acre property in Lumby for its operations, has produced a small-batch cultivation of Orange Tingz at 20.6 per cent THC and 2.3 per cent terpenes (volatile unsaturated hydrocarbons found in the essential oils of plants), and no detectable microbials or heavy metals.
A second batch tested at 21.2 per cent THC and 2.5 per cent terpenes with negligible levels of microbials.
True Leaf CEO Darcy Bomford said the certificates of analysis (“COA”) for the batches confirms True Leaf has met Health Canada’s testing requirements to release the product for sale.
