Jul 13, 2021 | 2:53 PM

The Vernon Vipers have announced the commitment of forward Tyler Chan (2005) for the 2021-22 season.

“Tyler was a very sought after player and we are thrilled he has chosen our program to continue his development as a player and person,” said Head Coach and GM of the Vipers Jason McKee. “Fans can expect to see a tenacious, skilled player with lots of courage.”

The Burnaby, B.C. product has spent the last three seasons with the Burnaby Winter Club. He has put up points at every level including a 36 point season with the U15 Prep team. Last season he had 7 points in 4 games with the Prep team.

“I’m excited to become a part of such a great organization and a community that really loves hockey,” said Chan. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and can’t wait to get the year started.”
