UPDATE: Highway 97 reopens in wildfire area

Vehicles are now able to get through a wildfire area near Peachland.

Drive BC reports single lane alternating traffic on Highway 97, in both directionse at Brent Road, 2 km’s south of Peachland. A 50km/hr speed limit is in effect through the fire zone.
