Cyclist knocked-off bike and assaulted by two men
Police are looking for two men who assaulted a man riding a bicycle in Vernon.
A 47-year-old cyclist was in the 2000 block of 43rd Street around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday (March 24) when he had a verbal altercation with two unknown men in a white Jeep Cherokee.
“As the cyclist began to ride away, the driver of the Cherokee ran into him, knocking him off his bike and to the ground. The two men exited the Cherokee and assaulted the cyclist,” RCMP Cpl. Tania Finn, media relations officer, said.
The two men then got out of the vehicle and assaulted the biker.
