Vipers spring camp off, office to close

The Vernon Vipers are postponing their spring training camp, originally scheduled for Apr. 24-26 due to the corona virus outbreak.

In a release today, the Vipers organization said its office inside Kal Tire Place will also be closed effective 4 p.m. Wednesday Mar. 18 until further notice.

It follows the City of Vernon’s decision to close all of its recreation facilities, including Kal Tire Place.

If fans still have tickets for Games 3 and 4, versus Penticton that were scheduled for Mar.16 and 18 — hold on to them as the Vipers will be happy to offer a refund as soon as the office is open again.
