Panel discussion targets gender equality

The Canadian Federation of University Women Vernon will host a panel discussions tonight (March 9) to mark International Women’s Day

Five successful local women will talk about the challenges women face daily in the workplace, the community and in business.

The panel members, Juliette Cunningham, Alice Brown, Nakita Edwards, Michele Hill and Audrey Pope, will join moderator Elanda Kowalchuk to talk about their experiences in various workplaces and career paths which have led them to their current and past successes.

The theme of the event is gender equality in the workplace and in society.
