Powerhouse presents ‘Girl in Goldfish Bowl’
Powerhouse Theatre has announced the next show in their season, Girl in the Goldfish Bowl, a 2003 Governor General’s Award-winning play by Canadian playwright Morris Panych.
The unique and intriguing story is set in Steveston, British Columbia, near Vancouver in 1962.
The Cuban Missile Crisis is at the height of its conflict, and the world is on the edge of its seat as a young girl named Iris is preoccupied with the events leading up to what she describes as “the last few days of her childhood.”
