New cemetery inquiries office part of renovations at city hall

People walking through the doors of city hall will notice some construction taking place.

According to the City of Vernon, renovations are underway at the main floor of the building for a new cemetery inquiries office. Remodeled workspaces for the city’s expanded financial services team are also being constructed.

Due to the ongoing work, the city is advising residents to book an appointment before visiting city hall if they have questions about a utility bill or have a cemetery inquiry.
