Four VSS Panthers signed to University of Calgary

Four football players who helped the VSS Panthers clinch two back-to back provincial championships will now be touching down as Dinos for the University of Calgary.

Players Caden Danbrook, Liam Reid, Zachary Smith, and Brayden Szeman were officially signed to the University of Calgary’s football team yesterday on a scholarship.

“It’s not very often that four players get signed from the same high school,” said University of Calgary Dinos head coach Wayne Harris. “It’s obvious the Panthers are a very special team. They put in a lot of hard work and are great players.”

The four players were signed at the VSS commons and were supported by family and teammates.
