What improvements are needed for highway in Lake Country?

B.C.’s Transportation Ministry will host an open house to get input on safety improvements for Highway 97 in Lake Country.

The ministry’s plan will identify short, medium and long-term improvement options from Duck Lake to Lodge Road.

The session will be held Feb. 5 at the Winfield Memorial Hall at 10130 Bottom Wood Lake Road from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Public input will help refine the options presented.

Ministry staff will be available to provide information and answer questions at the drop-in open house.
