New name for Vernon store

Vernon’s Macs convenience store has a new name.

The signs were changed Friday morning to Circle K, which is part of a company-wide branding initiative.

Circle K Stores are owned by Alimentation Couche-Tard, the largest convenience store operator in Canada.

“We make sure that visiting us feels good, so that people come back,” said the company’s video on its brand history.

A person at the Vernon store on 27th Street at 43rd Avenue, told Vernon Matters everything inside the store stays the same as before.
