Protestors back at courthouse for Sagmoen trial
Supporters of murdered and missing woman plan to resume their protests outside the Vernon courthouse today.
Curtis Sagmoen, 38, is scheduled to be back on court for the continuation of his trial on five charges related to allegedly threatening a sex trade worker with a gun near Falkland in 2017.
Rally organizer Jody Leon says justice and accountability for all women’s lives matters.
She questions why no charges have been laid after the remains of 18-year-old Traci Generaux were discovered at Sagmoen’s parent’s farm in 2017.
