Vernon’s Ryan Holmes takes step back from Hootsuite

The Vernon-born founder and CEO of Hootsuite is planning to step aside, allowing the company to begin a search for a new CEO.

Ryan Holmes tells the Financial Post the business is on a solid footing, but he wants to take a step back.

The 44-year-old will continue to serve as executive chairman of the Vancouver-based social media management company he started in 2008.
