Vipers on a win streak

The Vernon Vipers made it two straight wins with a 4-1 victory over the Chilliwack Chiefs Saturday night in BCHL action at Kal Tire Place.
Matt Kowalski paced the Snakes’ offence with two goals while Reilly Herbst, a native of Niwot Colorado playing in just his second game for the Vipers, made 16 saves for the win in net.
A crowd of 1,686 took in the game as Vernon outshot the visitors 33-17.
Next up for the Vipers will be a road game in Merritt Wednesday.
