Federal election advance polls open

Voting has started for Canada’s 43rd general election.

Advance polls are being held from today until Monday around the country.

Check the voting card you received in the mail to find out where you vote.

North Okanagan-Shuswap returning officer Sharon Morrison says, in the Vernon area, the voting stations are at the Schubert Centre, the Vernon Recreation Centre and at the Regional District of North Okanagan office on Aberdeen Road in Coldstream.

The polls are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. all four days.
