Two men arrested after reported assault at Kin Beach

Two men of no fixed address were arrested Tuesday morning following a report of an assault at Kin Beach.

The alleged incident occurred just after 10 a.m. at the popular beach.

”Frontline officers learned that a 59-year- old female confronted a group of transients at that location and an altercation ensued,” Const. Kelly Brett of the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said in a statement.

The two suspects were released from custody with the promise to appear in court at a later date.
