‘Fabulous’ IPE wraps up

Another Interior Provincial Exhibition is in the books, and from the sounds of it, everyone had fun ‘Horsin’ around at the Fair.’

That was the theme of the 120th annual event in Armstrong which wrapped up Sunday night.

General Manager Yvonne Paulson says it was a “fabulous” IPE this year.

“Hats off to the City of Armstrong and Township of Spallumcheen for opening up their communities to host fair goers from the Okanagan and beyond. There were hundreds of thousands in attendance.”

Paulson says the weather was great.

“Only 10 minutes of rain on Saturday to help settle the dust and bring the temperature down a couple of degrees. What can we say: The IPE had amazing food, entertainment and B.C.’s best agricultural show!,” said Paulson in an email to Vernon Matters.

The event is B.C.’s largest agricultural fair.
