Biker sustains serious injuries in crash

A motorcyclist has been transported to hospital after colliding with a vehicle.

The accident happened at the intersection of  Highway 97 and 43 Avenue just before 1 p.m Friday.

Military personnel rushed to the aid of the crash victim before emergency crews arrived.

“There was some military personnel that just happened to be at a vehicle in the area and they did render first aid until out unit’s arrived,” Deputy Fire Chief Dwight Seymour confirmed to Vernon Matters.
