It’s now safe to swim again at a popular beach on Shuswap Lake.
Interior Health has advised the Columbia Shuswap Regional District the most recent water tests are showing acceptable levels of E. Coli bacteria in the water off Sunnybrae Beach near Salmon Arm.
The swimming advisory was put in place last Wednesday, but was lifted today.
“The CSRD extends its thanks to residents and visitors for their patience during the temporary swim advisory,” a news release from the CSRD said.
