Crash slows Hwy 6 traffic

Traffic along Highway 6 in Coldstream was flowing slower than usual Friday afternoon after a car crash involving a cement truck and a red sedan.

The cement truck driver told Vernon Matters that he was stopped on Ricardo Road trying to turn left onto the highway when the red car hit his truck from behind and sped onto the road.

Two people inside the red vehicle were reportedly taken to hospital by ambulance.
