Historic military vehicles on display

The pubic is invited to check out some historical military vehicles at the Vernon Cadet Camp this weekend.

The Western Command Military Vehicle Historical Society will have up to ten restored military vehicles including a World War Two era gun truck, and a Bren Gun Carrier on display.

The site is on Patricia Way, just north of the Cadet Camp Museum from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, which ties with the annual Okanagan Military Tattoo at Kal Tire Place.

Museum curator Francois Arseneault says it’s a perfect way for visitors to take in some history before attending the Tattoo that evening.
