Police say three people required treatment after a crash at Highway 6 and Pottery Road in Vernon this morning.
“A white Chevrolet Impala, heading south on Pottery Road, allegedly failed to estimate the amount of time they had to cross Highway 6, thus were struck by a grey Kia Sportage, that was travelling east bound,” Const. Kelly Brett, media relations officer for Vernon RCMP, said.
Brett added three people were transported to the nearest medical facility as a precaution, but she told Vernon Matters it didn’t appear any serious injuries were sustained.
Jasmine Finlay said on Twitter, something needs to be done to improve that site.
