CMHA raising funds for Ride Don’t Hide
The Vernon & District Canadian Mental Health Association says they are over 57 per cent through their goal of raising $60,000 for local mental health initiatives.
“We are grateful for the continued support and generosity from our community members who rally around our family, friends, neighbours and co-workers who are living with mental health challenges,” said Julia Payson, CMHA Vernon & District Executive Director.
The event is open to all ages and skill-levels and participants can choose an easy 2.2 km course or a more challegening 40 km ride.
Non-cyclists are also welcome to participate with a new “Stride don’t hide’ route for walkers.
