Jun 3, 2019 | 5:29 PM

RCMP have released a composite sketch of a Kelowna assault suspect from an incident on May 2, hoping it will generate tips.

A woman in her 30’s was on foot in Mission Creek Regional Park when she was assaulted by a man in the 2300 block of Springfield Road.

The victim was not injured.

“Since the incident, a specially trained forensic artist met with the victim in order to create a composite sketch of the assault suspect,” stated Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of the Kelowna RCMP.

The suspect has been described to police as a Caucasian male in his 40’s, about 6 feet tall, of average build and skinny, with a fair skin tone, medium brown hair, and a moustache.

He was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt and red shorts at the time. The unknown witness has been described to police as walking a small black dog.

If you can identify the adult male depicted in the forensic sketch, or you have any additional information that may be of assistance to investigators, you are asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP non-emergency line at 250-762-3300. Or remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net
