Robbery Suspect Sentenced
Sentence has been handed down for a Vernon robbery suspect who was apprehended by one of the store’s co-owners.
33 year old Heron Taylor was given a two year prison sentence for robbery, disguising his face with intent, and two other charges in Vernon Provincial Court Monday.
Dan McLaughlin from the BC Prosecution Service says after receiving credit for time served, Taylor will have to serve another 263 days behind bars of new time.
He will also be on probation for two years after his release.
