Chase RCMP...Chase Down Suspect

Chase RCMP…Chase Down Suspect

Nov 12, 2018 | 7:31 AM

Chase RCMP have one man in custody after he evaded police for over two weeks.

25-year-old Damien Thiessen was wanted for Robbery, Disguise Face with Intent, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Theft under $5000.00.

In a release, Chase RCMP say they located Thiessen Sunday along Shepherd Rd in Chase, where he fled from police.

RCMP say the determined Thiessen had actually fled into a residence on Brooke Dr., unbeknownst to the occupants.

Police arrived on scene, where Thiessen was found inside the home. He resisted arrest before being taken into custody.

Thiessen was arrested for Resisting a Peace Officer, along with the four outstanding warrants.

He is currently being held in custody, and will appear in Kamloops Provincial Court on Tuesday.
