Vehicles Destroyed In Suspicious Fires

RCMP are investigating two suspicious vehicle fires in Vernon over two days.

The incidents overnight Tuesday and Wednesday were both on Pleasant Valley Road, in the 4000 to 4300 blocks.

Vernon Fire Rescue responded to the incidents.

Three vehicles, a Nissan Murano, Ford Fusion and a Buick Enclave were destroyed.

Police are treating the cases as arsons.

“No one was injured as a result of the fires and the files remain under investigation,” says Cst Kelly Brett.
