Search and Rescue Locate Missing Man’s Body

According to the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue twitter page the body of a 31-year-old Lake Country man was found in an area east of Oyama on Friday.

Martin Cordsen was reported missing Wednesday.

His car was found along Oyama Lake Road which isolated the search area.

Volunteers with COSAR along with members of the Lake Country Fire Department were part of that search and spent Thursday and Friday looking for the man. Vernon Search and Rescue were called in to assist, but were not present when the man’s body was located.
