Nov 3, 2026 | 9:05 AM

SURREY — Police in Surrey, B.C., are investigating a shooting where a man has been critically injured.

Police were called at 9:42 p.m. Monday to the 9000 block of Snowdon Place, where officers say they found signs of injury along with evidence consistent with a shooting.

No suspects or victims were found at the scene, but a 22-year-old man later showed up at the hospital with a gunshot injury.

Police say he is in critical condition.

Major crime investigators have taken over the case, and police say there is currently no indication that the shooting is linked to a series of extortion attempts.

Police are asking anyone who has information to contact investigators.
