SilverStar Mountain Resort ranked fifth in North America

SilverStar Mountain Resort is being recognized as one of North America’s top ski destinations, placing fifth in Condé Nast Traveller’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Okanagan resort received a score of 93.26 out of 100 in the annual rankings, which are based on ratings submitted by readers of the travel magazine.

The 2026 survey ran from April 1 to June 30, with respondents rating ski resorts on a five-point scale ranging from excellent to poor. Those ratings were converted into percentages to determine each resort’s final score.

Located northeast of Vernon in British Columbia’s Okanagan region, SilverStar offers 133 marked ski runs, along with a ski-in, ski-out village.

Beyond downhill skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers a range of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating and tubing.

“We’re proud to offer a mountain experience that brings people together, and it’s exciting to see SilverStar recognized among the top ski destinations in North America.”

SilverStar’s winter season is scheduled to open Nov. 27.
