RDNO urges cautious with ongoing wildfires, elevated risks
The Regional District of North Okanagan has urged people to be vigilant and prepared for wildfires.
The RDNO said emergency personnel and other agencies were monitoring conditions, though the North Okanagan remained very dry and hot and susceptible to a fire starting and quickly spreading.
With the high fire risk, the regional district wanted people to be cautious with their activities, and to take proactive steps to ensure they were ready for a wildfire.
