Celebrating Caetani’s birthday, kick of First Friday Art Trail

The local museum, historic house and art gallery will host a celebration to mark what would have been Sveva Caetani’s 109th birthday.

The Caetani Centre will hold a birthday celebration event to honour the life, legacy and vision of the artist from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, August 7.

The event will feature 2-for-1 tours, lawn games, member discounts and special treats, allowing people to celebrate and learn about the Canadian-Italian artist’s life and works.

“This celebration is an opportunity for our community to honour Sveva Caetani’s extraordinary artistic legacy while experiencing the place she called home,” Kim Mangan, the Caetani Centre’s Interim Director, stated.
